Meet Nicki
Certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, E-RYT 500, B.Architecture & Outdoor Educator
Wild Vedas is the adventure base for Ayurvedic Practitioner, Outdoor Educator and Yoga Teacher Trainer, Nicki McKeon.
Nicki is a seasoned Outdoor Educator, Yoga Teacher, Ayurvedic Practitioner, and lifelong advocate for the human-nature relationship. Her connection to the wilderness began in her youth at her family’s Australian property, launching a professional path that started at age 18.
Her career is a testament to global experience, having taught and guided programs from bases in the UK, New Zealand, Australia, Bali and Canada, with extensive travel through Asia and South America. After settling in Whistler, BC in 2018, Nicki formalized the integration of her practices through the creation of Wild Vedas. She now creates deeply connected programs that utilize the awe-inspiring British Columbia landscape to foster playfulness, community, and transformative self-discovery.
Nicki is a Professional Member of the Ayurveda Association of Canada, an E-RYT with the Yoga Alliance, holds her Bachelor of Architecture, her Certificate V in Outdoor Instruction (from NZ), & Certificate IV in Outdoor Leadership (from NZ), and numerous other CPP qualifications.
An eternal student, Nicki continues to work with her mentors & grow the depth of her knowledge in Ayurveda, Tantra, Environmental Psychology, Experiential & Outdoor Education.

Their acknowledgment of the profound value this knowledge contributes to the world is immeasurable.
May this acknowledgment serve as my commitment to understanding, honouring, and respecting the rich cultural heritage of the Indigenous peoples whose lands I traverse and from whom I learn.
