Homemade Cooling Rose Water Mist
It’s this easy!
Enjoy a spray on your face in the evenings before your add oils, or throughout the day when you need to cool off.
You only need 200mls of filtered water and either 1/2 cup of fresh rose petals(gently rinsed) or 1tbsp of dried (be sure they are organic!). Remember if you are foraging petals to leave 2 petals per flower to support pollinators!
Bring the water to a boil, then reduce heat
Add the petals and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove the pot from heat and let it steep for 1 hour.
Strain out the petals and allow the water to cool completely.
Pour into a glass spray bottle!
Store it in the fridge for an extra refreshing sensation.
This is especially useful for those with heat, redness or acne prone skin.
