Whistlers most amazing Yoga Spots
Yoga with the Sunrise
We are not here to talk instagramable pilates studios, tight pants and bendy ladies.
We are here to talk about magical locations, where you become so deeply rooted in the awe of this earth that energy flows effortlessly and Yoga (union with the mystery) is able to emerge.
I've been guiding yoga for years, but the word "teaching" has never felt quite right. I prefer the term facilitator. I am not the center of attention, nor should I be. When we practice in incredible mountain locations, my role becomes effortless. We are carried by the energy of the peaks, the breath of the trees, and the flow of the rivers. The world around us is already in union; we simply have to open our attention to it. Remove the distractions, let go of the goals, stop seeking, and just BREATHE.

Sea to Sky Gondola
The Octagon Deck at the Sea to Sky Gondola in Squamish
Morning practices amongst the clouds, the sparkle of the ocean, feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin and letting your eyes dance along the skyline of the mountains, there’s nothing quite like it.
Seasonal Yoga is held here typically from May to October each year. Classes are mid week, due to the business of the spot on weekends. Yoga Mats and Blocks are provided.

Squamish Canyon
The Forest Lounge at Squamish Canyon
These early Morning practices happen before the boardwalk is open to the public. Classes are held in the Forest Lounge, amongst the canopy of Douglas Fir Trees and the rich smell of cedar wood, and pastries! As the sun rises its ray begin to dapple through the trees, lifting mist, bouncing off moss and filling souls.
Seasonal Yoga is starting up here for 2026. Classes will likely run from May to October.
To get here, turn into the Mamquam Forest Service Road as you enter Squamish from the South. Take the road for about 10 minutes following all signage to Squamish Canyon. The Forest Cafe opens right as class finished, right in time to meet your coffee needs.

Rebagliati Park Whistler

Wild Vedas Backcountry Yoga Retreat
Some spots need to be kept secret
Tucked away high in the Alpine, this yoga spot is reserved for those who “earn their turns”. A 10km hike to a secluded Alpine shelf overlooking the entire valley from the Chief down in Squamish, to Mt Currie up in Pemberton.
I don’t mean to gate keep, but the quite here elevates the practice. So we are keeping this one away from the crowds.
To get here, book a backcountry hiking and yoga program with Wild Vedas Adventure Based Wellness.
