CONCUSSION &
TBI PROGRAM
Concussions suck. This is a space to connect with others who understand your experience, to cultivate resilience and tools, and to rediscover hope.
Registration begins with conversation to make sure this program is right for you.

The program will run for 6 weeks and meet through a series of in person and online sessions for 2hrs each week. The sessions will involve meditation exercises, asana specifically for minimal cognitive load and gentle somatic guidance, community discussion and journaling prompts. We will focus in on gratitude, on things that are going well as well as the challenges we may be facing. We will cultivate hope and build our resiliency toolkit as we navigate into new ways of being in the world.
We recognised that screen time can be a challenge. Online sessions will be held in a way where the screen can be turned off and only sound is used.
The group will be limited to 7 participants and will not be available for drop in.

IN GRATITUDE
In deep appreciation, I acknowledge that my life, activities, and practice unfold across the traditional and unceded territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw & xwməθkwəy̓əm, & Líl̓wat people. I also gratefully explore and engage with many other lands.
With humility, I recognise that much of my practice is comprised of traditions that are not my own. I offer deep respect to my teachers, Dr(Ayur) Manjot Garcha, Dr(Ayur) Roopa Rao, Dr.(Ayur) Leenu C.B., Rebekka Walker, Susie Newson, and the many other carriers of this wisdom over many thousands of years. Their acknowledgment of the profound value this knowledge contributes to the world is immeasurable.
May this acknowledgment serve as my commitment to understanding, honouring, and respecting the rich cultural heritage of the Indigenous peoples whose lands I traverse and from whom I learn.
