CURRICULUM

  • Dive into the rich tapestry of Yoga's history, uncovering the diverse schools of thought, foundational texts, contextual forces (social, political, and environmental) that influenced the birth of varied paths that have emerged across centuries.

  • Delve into the foundational ethical principles of the yogic path. You will learn, reflect, and develop sustainable personal practices and ideals that guide your interactions, decisions, and commitment to living a meaningful life both on and off the mat.

  • Dive deep into the functional anatomy of the human body, learning how to safely and effectively cue movement. Then, transcend the physical to study the subtle energetic systems that influence our state of being. You'll learn to integrate these physical and energetic insights to create classes that offer your students a truly holistic and impactful experience.

  • Go beyond the rational mind to explore the language of the subtle body. Learn to cultivate, perceive, & direct energy, leading to intentional shifts in physical, mental, & spiritual well-being.

  • This intensive module is built on the principle of practice, practice, practice. You will dive deep into teaching methodology, refining your sequencing, powerful cueing, and effective use of language. Through consistent, constructive feedback and hands-on experience, you will cultivate authentic teaching skills. We also provide practical insights into the business and ethics required to launch into business.

  • Navigate the complex role of a modern Yoga teacher with integrity and deep cultural awareness. This module guides you in understanding the practice’s origins and its intended purpose of shared wisdom. We examine how to rectify past harms and cultivate a teaching approach that honors the tradition while remaining authentic, respectful, and inclusive.

  • Attune yourself to the greater picture of nature. By exploring the science of Circadian Rhythms and the holistic framework of Ayurveda, you will gain insight into your personal constitution and energy cycles. Cultivate the awareness necessary to harness and honor your uniqueness, empowering you to live in harmonious synchronization with the changing seasons.

  • Examine the essential meaning of your path and your identity in the Seat of the Teacher. We confront the foundational questions: Where are we going, and why are we truly doing this? Reaffirming our understanding that the teacher's deepest wisdom stems from quiet, consistent self-study, far removed from performance or social pressure.

  • Recognising Sanskrits power as the linguistic foundation of Yoga. Explore how this precise language provides deeper access to classical texts & mythology, revealing the ever-deepening layers of spiritual & philosophical wisdom contained within its vibrational structure.
